Develop job search strategies and language skills for participating in the workplace
A jobseekers course for skilled migrants
This course is delivered in the afternoons over ten weeks and is designed to prepare qualified professionals seeking employment in their chosen profession to enter the Australian workforce. English for Employment is funded by the NSW Government and is free for eligible participants.
Human resource specialists and employers will provide sessions on the current expectations of finding work and career advice. They will also provide interactive workshops with an emphasis on English language support.
Students can obtain Statements of Attainment for modules within the Certificate IV in Spoken and Written English. This qualification is recognised throughout Australia.
Requirements
Migrants must have IELTS 5.5 to 6.0 or equivalent to qualify for this course.

You will also need to provide the following documents:
- current visa page of your passport
- your qualifications (English Translations)
- IELTS Test Report Form or equivalent
