In order to maintain the security and integrity of testing, all applications for the IELTS test must be made in person to the UWS IELTS Test Administration Centre at:

The IELTS Test Administration Centre is open Monday-Thursday 9.00 am - 4.00 pm and Fridays 8.30 am -12.00 pm.

The person sitting the test must apply for the test in person and will need to bring when applying:
- A completed IELTS application form.
- Two passport size photographs (not more than six months old). Please adhere to the Recommended guidelines for candidate photographs.
- Your original passport. Please note that the passport must be valid beyond the test date. Australian citizens with no passport are required to bring:

- Birth certificate (Original)
- Photo I.D
- Two forms of proof of address (Originals)
- Two passport sized photos
- A completed GST Declaration Form (PDF, 81.2Kb)
- Payment of AUD $330 ($363 if not GST exempt). Please note that we do not accept cash but do have EFTPOS facilities.
A photograph and finger print scan will be taken at the time of application or on test day.
Confirmation of your test date will be given to you at the time of application. Once the maximum number of candidates has been enrolled for a test, the test date will be closed. As there is no guarantee that you will get your preferred test date, it is recommended that applications be made well in advance of the requested test date.
